Raymond F. McCaskey

As president and chief executive officer of Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC), Raymond F. McCaskey oversees the operations of one of the strongest multi-state health and life insurance companies in the nation. A strong commitment to people, quality and service is Mr. McCaskey’s hallmark, as evidenced by the many community projects and programs nurtured by HCSC through its Blue Cross Plans. In 1995, he was elected co-chair of Chicago United, a business group that has led the fight to improve race relations in the city. In 1994, he was awarded the Anti-Defamation League’s Distinguished Community Service Award. In 2002, he was presented with Chicago United's first annual Changing How Chicago Works Award for his leadership in developing and promoting workforce diversity at HCSC. Mr. McCaskey is member of the WorkforceChicago2.0 Business Leadership Group and has been a co-chair since 2005.

John E. Rooney
President & Chief Executive Officer, U.S. Cellular

John Rooney joined U.S. Cellular as president and CEO in April 2000, changing the company's business strategy by focusing on complete customer satisfaction. This vision required a new leadership model – a culture of teamwork among all associates to focus on U.S. Cellular's efforts on satisfying the customer. Thanks to its customer-focused philosophy, U.S. Cellular now has one of the best customer retention records in the wireless industry. John Rooney has guided U.S. Cellular's more than 7,600 associates in delivering excellent customer service.

Over several years, U.S. Cellular has seen unprecedented growth under Rooney's guidance by introducing service into numerous new markets. The company's entrance into the Chicago market was one of the most successful in its history. Rooney previously worked for Ameritech Corporation for nine years serving as president of Ameritech Consumer Services from 1997 to 1999, president of Ameritech Cellular Services from 1992 to 1997 and vice president/treasurer from 1990 to 1992.
