On an annual basis, WorkforceChicago recognizes leading Chicagoland companies that demonstrate exemplary learning and development practices at an annual award event. This venue allows Chicago businesses an opportunity to share winning employee learning strategies and build a culture of performance, productivity, and pride.

Each summer, leaders in business, government and economic development gather to honor the winners of the WorkforceChicago Annual Award for exemplary practice in employee learning and development. At the event, the newest inductees into WorkforceChicago’s list of exemplary companies are presented with their awards by the Honorable Richard M. Daley, mayor of the City of Chicago.

In Mayor Daley’s words: “More than ever, a uniquely skilled and diverse workforce is necessary to compete in the global economy.
